This imposing mansion enjoys a peaceful location in eight acres of landscaped gardens near Galloway Forest Park. It is said that Robert Burns sat on the staircase at Kirroughtree and recited his poems. The inviting day rooms comprise a choice of lounges, and two elegant dining rooms where guests can enjoy the delightful cuisine which is firmly based on top quality, locally sourced ingredients. Well-proportioned, individually styled bedrooms include some suites and mini-suites and many rooms enjoy fine views. Service is very friendly and attentive.
